Research & Teaching
I am a researcher, and lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism and Media Studies at the University of Media Arts and Communication. I specialize in New Media, bringing my passion for technology and communication into the classroom. Aside from that, I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at Kent State University, where my research dives into the fascinating intersection of Journalism, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and emerging technologies and Ethics. I'm all about exploring how tech is changing the way we tell stories, share news, and communicate in this digital age. But my work doesn’t stop in the classroom, I am also involved in a number of exciting initiatives aimed at improving our digital world. For example, I volunteer with the Internet Society Foundation, contributing to projects on Internet governance and online safety. Plus, I teach others about encryption through the E-learning team, helping people understand how to protect their privacy and stay safe online. I am passionate about equipping people with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate today’s digital world with confidence.
As a doctoral student at Kent State University, I bring a strong academic background and expertise in Media and Technology Studies.
When I am not teaching or researching, I am publishing on important digital rights issues. You can find my work on platforms like the Association for Progressive Communicators (APC), Citinewsroom.com, Joyonline.com, ResearchGate, and Google Scholar. I use these platforms to tackle important topics like privacy, digital rights, and encryption, contributing to conversations that affect everyone in this increasingly digital world.
